"The girl who silenced the world for 6 minutes" speaks again for the Rio+20 Sustainability Summit

She is back again! Severn Cullis-Suzuki, also known as the "Girl who silenced the world" on 1992 U.N. Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro appeared again for "Democracy Now" exactly 20 years after that speech that turned legendary.Â
It is inspiring to know that Severn, now married with two children, is still fighting for the same cause she defended 20 years ago. It all started when she was 9 and founded the ECO (Environmental Children Organization) and only three years later she had chance to address the UN leaders in terms of sustainability. One the interview she says she is ashamed today but I wonder if she is the one to be ashamed?
